  1. Call the family planning clinic and see if they can do a blood test. There’s no reason they couldn’t. Yes, their urine tests will be the same as the home pregnancy tests. You need a blood test.

  2. the test they have to have higher hcg than the ones you use at home. I would wait a couple more days then take another test and then if you still don’t start call your dr.

  3. You could be like me – it takes 1.5-2 weeks for me to get a positive pregnancy test. You could try the CVS brand tests – in my past research into the sensitivity of the tests they seem to be one of the more sensitive. You could also do a search online for current test sensitivity levels. I don’t think the one at family planning will necessarily be any more sensitive since they’re all (for the most part) pretty similar. Just hang in there for a few more days and if you don’t get a positive test I would go to either family planning or your doctor to have the blood test done. I have also heard that you can use the ovulation predictor sticks to test for pregnancy but I’m not sure how reliable that is. Also, you’re more likely to get a false positive than a false negative with the pregnancy tests now so have a little patience and try again! Best of luck to you and baby dust that this is your month!!!!!
