Now onto the problem…

I called my family first to tell them the great news, and the first one I told was my grandma, the woman who practically raised me while my mom was out gallivanting with her BF. So, I told her the wonderful news…and her reply was “*silence* Oh…are you sure?? When did you go to the doctor?” So i told her that I took 4 pregnancy tests and all of them were unmistakably positive, to which her reply was “Well, those arent any good. normal people dont go saying they are pregnant without proof from a doctor” so she went on to call me a liar…and never said congratulations, never sounded happy, nothing at all…so she got me upset, and i cried most of the night.

Next: We went to my husbands moms across the parking lot (scary LOL), (Will be continued…)
And when we got to his moms, we invited his sister and sis’s bf as well. We announced the great news, and his mom had practically the same reaction that my grandma did, but she tried to cover it up with false happiness. The next day, we were told that his mom is miserable with the pregnancy and is already saying she hates the baby and wont love it when its born, and that I will be a horrible mom, and that her son is to sick and old to take care of a baby and its to much on him (he has a SLIGHT case of cerebral palsy- but she treats him like he is mentally retarded which is not true at all)

And lastly- I told my uncle, and he said “Isnt it kind of dumb to say your pregnant and tell everyone when the baby is going to die?? Thats not a very good idea…” he never even said congratulations…

So- anyways, My Question is, what should I do?? My heart is broken that everyone hates our child already…and we have NO support, except by very few people…
My mom has been supportive, but I know that when I am not talking to her, I am told all the time how much she hates my husband, and hates me being married, and I know when my mom is being false…and she is…So we have no support…and we are so happy about our child. And its not like we did anything wrong in our book, We are MARRIED, and have been for almost a year, and I think we are allowed to have a child together…without being called a liar, or being told your going to be a horrible mother, or any of this…I just don’t know what to think…I thought my family would be happy…and his as well…but everyone except for a select few seem to be miserable about this…Have any of you been through this?? Please give me some advice…how do we deal with this?? I love my baby already…with all my heart, and it already kills me that my family and his family **** them before they even get to meet them…what should I do?? have you ever gone through this??

so i’m wondering, when would be the best time? should i wait until i know for sure that this pregnancy is viable? what are the odds of my miscarrying again? (i had a blighted ovum at 5 wks, d&c at 12 wks)

p.s.–what is the soonest a dr will do an ultrasound? my drs office will only do them at 8 weeks, is it possible to find a dr that will perform one earlier than that? we’re really eager to see the heartbeat!
